It is with utmost gratitude for your continued fannage that we announce something! It’s not really a contest or competition, neither is it really a sweepstakes or lottery. Well, let’s just get on with it.

For the remainder of Lime Colony’s performances at Retox Lounge in SF (8/17, 9/7, 9/21):

Anyone who posts a picture of the band to our facebook or myspace pages will get a FREE copy of our latest and greatest album, Lime Colony.  Furthermore, anyone who posts both a picture AND a video will get one of the aforementioned LP’s plus our debut EP, The Advantage Of Getting There First.  FREE.

Wow!  A few clarifications: 1) The person posting the photo or video must have personally taken it.  2) We will contact photo-posters with album-delivery details, but 3) you are free to message us directly pointing out your handiwork.

Show notes:

For the 8/17 show at Retox (see our earlier post for full details) Tim and Earl will be playing an entirely acoustic set (SPECIAL!), on a bill with Koozito and Terese Taylor.  If you want to see the full band, well of course you can also do that at Retox on 9/7 and 9/21.

We apologize for our seeming absence.  Really we’ve been here, been here for you, but lurking in the shadows, watching your every move.  Even when you did that one thing.  Yep.

Anyway, we’re pleased to announce a series of shows at The Retox Lounge in San Francisco.  We’ll be playing on the following dates:

• August 3rd
• (possibly August 17th – that one’s still being finalized)
• September 7th
• September 21st

It promises to be 3 (4?) nights of magic.  We will be making your problems disappear, Houdini-style.  As details firm up, we’ll keep you posted.

Thank you for your continued love.  We love you, too.  Completely.  Unconditionally.  A little inappropriately.

We’re writing to remind you that Lime Colony’s brand new release, Lime Colony, will be let loose this Wednesday night (5/12) at Bottom of the Hill in your very own San Francisco.  The doors will be opened at 8.  You’ll then be aurally enraptured by the likes of Blood & Sunshine and Passenger & Pilot.  Following that, Lime Colony will cap the night off with something special.  Something very special.  You know.  That one thing.  Yep.

So come along, bring your friends and don’t forget to hold on to your butts.

Beloved, Loyal and Tenacious Fan,

We here at Lime Colony HQ are pleased downright giddy to announce the release of our shiny new album, Lime Colony.  The full-length work makes us tear up when we listen to it for so many reasons (you cannot count them – the number is in Spanish an exotic foreign language).

Anyway, said CD will be released at BOTTOM OF THE HILL ON MAY 12TH!  Passenger & Pilot (our friends and excellent musicians) and Blood & Sunshine (music-makers extraordinaire) will be getting the night going for us and we urge you to come early to hear experience them.

Doors open at 8.  21+.  $8 (CD’s will be on sale for $10).

Ladies and Gentlemens,

We here at Lime Colony headquarters recently learned that…hold on…it’s hard to type when listening to music, even if it is The Heligoats…there…Ok, we learned that we will be kicking off a show with Hail the Sun and Clouds On Strings on Tuesday, January 19th t The Rockit Room. I’ve always really liked rockits.

The show starts at 8. We’d really like to see you there. It’s been months since that one time we met. You know. That one time.

On another musical note (GET IT?!), we’re this close to being done on the new album. Really, like thiiiiis close. So move forward on your seat until you’re pretty much on the edge of it. Good. Now stay there until we announce our CD release show (imminent).

Folks, this will be the last show (of 2009) EVER.  If you miss this, you’re going to regret it for the rest of your life.  And if not, you’ll regret it for HOURS.

At any rate, we’re doing an acoustic dinner show at the Beale St. Bar And Grill this Wednesday.  The show starts at 8.  Bring your santa clothes and your reindeer (and your festivus poles).  And your friends.
